A dated record of what shipped on Case Converter. Newest first. When a guide or tool ships, it is listed here the same day.

camelCase, snake_case, and kebab-case

camelCase, snake_case, and kebab-case compares those joins for JavaScript, Python, CSS, and SQL. It cites PEP 8, MDN's JavaScript code style, Google's JavaScript, Python, and HTML/CSS style guides, PostgreSQL's identifier rules, and Google's URL guidance. Worked lines show where those documents disagree with each other and with the developer case converter. The converter page keeps the button steps and the odd tokens.

Change case in Excel, Sheets, Word, and Docs

How to change case in Excel, Google Sheets, Word, and Google Docs walks through UPPER, LOWER, and PROPER, then Word's Change Case menu and Shift+F3, then Format, Text, Capitalization in Google Docs. The examples are the ones Microsoft and Google publish. Where a help page is silent, the guide says so. Text that is not already in those apps still goes through the converter.

Developer case converter

A separate page, developer case, converts text to camelCase, PascalCase, snake_case, kebab-case, CONSTANT_CASE, and dot.case. It runs in the browser. The article on that page covers how the split works, worked examples, and edge cases such as acronyms, numbers, and non-English letters. The four buttons on the home page are unchanged.

Deeper guides, less repetition

The home page section on when to use each case style is now a short pointer. The full decision map is When to use each case. Title Case rules, Sentence case vs Title Case, and Common uppercase mistakes were rewritten so each page owns one job. Title Case examples now match the converter: an apostrophe stays inside the word, so o'neil becomes O'neil until you edit it to O'Neil.

Changelog

This page. Each shipped feature and guide gets its own note, with the date it went out and a link to the page.

Guide dates

Every guide now shows a byline for Alpha Elite Digital, plus Published and Updated dates. The four guides and the guides hub were first published on September 30, 2026. Updated is October 16, 2026. That date covers the byline, this log, and the longer guide text shipped the same day. The guides still link to the converter.

Sitemap dates

Every URL in the sitemap now carries a lastmod date, so a crawler can see when a page last changed. Later edits update that date only for the pages that changed, and for this changelog.

Title Case rules

The first version of Title Case rules described the Title Case button as a fast first pass and listed short words to fix by hand. A later note on this page corrects the apostrophe example so it matches the converter.

Sentence case vs Title Case

Sentence case vs Title Case is for choosing a headline style versus body copy. It includes one phrase shown both ways, then the proper-noun fix (Friday) that the automatic pass will not do.

Common uppercase mistakes

Common uppercase mistakes covers paragraphs in all capitals, scattered emphasis caps, and acronyms that disappear after a lower-case pass. The cleanup is lower case, then Sentence case, then restore names. Short labels such as NEW or BETA are called out as a fair use of capitals.

When to use each case

When to use each case maps UPPER CASE, lower case, Title Case, and Sentence case to headlines, body copy, and messy pasted data. Each section says what to use the style for and what to avoid.

Terms of use

The Terms of use cover the free converter at getcaseconverter.com, operated by Alpha Elite Digital. The page says those terms were last updated September 30, 2026.

Home page guide sections

The home page gained a how-to, common use cases, notes on when to use each style, worked examples, a privacy note, and a FAQ, with links into the guides. The four buttons stayed at the top.

Case Converter

The converter shipped with four browser conversions: UPPER CASE, lower case, Title Case, and Sentence case. The transform runs on the device. Pasted text is not uploaded for conversion.

About, Privacy, and Contact

About says Alpha Elite Digital runs the site. Privacy says the converter does not upload the text you paste. Contact is how to reach the team.
