There is no login, upload, or server round-trip. The converter runs entirely in your browser with a few lines of JavaScript.
When to use each case style
UPPER CASE
Use for short labels, acronyms you want shouted, or legacy systems that expect all caps. Avoid long paragraphs in all caps — they are harder to read and can feel aggressive in email or chat.
lower case
Handy for normalizing messy pasted text, usernames, tags, or filenames before you apply another style. Also useful when a source dumped everything in CAPS and you want a clean base.
Title Case
Common for headlines, blog post titles, slide titles, and UI labels. This tool capitalizes the first letter of each word (including after apostrophes). Some style guides leave short words like “a”, “the”, or “of” lowercase — edit those by hand if your guide requires it.
Sentence case
Best for body copy, product descriptions, and notes. The first letter of the string and the first letter after ., !, or ? are capitalized; everything else is lowercased. Fix proper nouns (names, places, brands) afterward if needed.

Is my text sent to a server?
No. Conversion runs locally in your browser. We do not upload, store, or analyze the text you paste into the tool.
Does Title Case follow AP or Chicago style?
This converter uses a simple rule: capitalize the first letter of each word. AP, Chicago, and MLA have more nuanced rules for short words and hyphenation. Use this for a fast first pass, then tweak to match your style guide.
Can I convert only part of the text?
Yes. Select a range in the textarea, then click a case button. Only the selection is converted; the rest stays as-is.
Does it work offline?
After the page has loaded once, the converter itself needs no network. A full offline install (service worker / PWA) is not included yet; bookmark the page for quick access.
Will this change special characters or emoji?
Non-letter characters and emoji are left alone. Only Latin letters A–Z / a–z are cased by the current rules.
Is this free to use?
Yes. The tool is free. The site may show advertising in the future (Google AdSense). Any ads will be disclosed in the privacy policy before they go live.
